Tyler Lamb is a passionate and reliable creator whose abilities stretch far in all facets of multimedia. Whether it's print, video or photo work, he consistently provides engaging and authentic storytelling.

Tyler served as both the assistant sports editor and sports editor for the school newspaper, Sidelines, as just a sophomore. He completely revamped the sports department by creating an interactive game day summary complete with video, embedded tweets, and a written story. He also initiated and oversaw a staff of beat writers assigned to cover the various sports Middle Tennessee State University has to offer. He was fortunate to be a representative of one of the only student newspapers to travel to the NCAA basketball tournament in Milwaukee to cover their team in 2017.

During his junior year, Tyler moved to the position of multimedia specialist intern with the Athletic Communications Department at Middle Tennessee.  In this role, he was able to concentrate on video features, be the face to MTSU’s social media presence and tell the stories that don’t always make the headlines. The ability to find his passion and hone his skills with MT Athletics has led Tyler to receive multiple journalistic honors, including 10 first-place awards from the likes of the Associated Press and the Society of Professional Journalists.

In the Spring of 2019, Tyler founded a media company titled Encounter Productions. The entity has since become a full service photo and video team, working with people and brands in Tennessee and around the Southeast to create amazing visual content.
